  Irish Music: Jonathan Ramsey's four shows on Saint Patrick's Day in Kansas City!

  Irish music is in the air for Saint Patrick’s Day 2011 in Kansas City, MO.

  That’s right, Saint Patrick’s Day -yes, this Thursday- I have Four full shows in Kansas City, MO. I’ll start at lovely O’Dowd’s Little Dublin on the Country Club Plaza. After an hour and a half there, I wisk south to The Well in Waldo (74th and Broadway/Wornall) for a couple hours of music there. Longest break of the day, I start the dinner hour at The Well’s sister restaurant Lew’s Grill & Bar at 75th and Wornall Rd. At 8:30, I’ll begin my final show at Harling’s on Main St at Westport Rd.

  That’s right! I finish the evening with a Thursday Night Live at Harling’s, just like ould times! So, for you who knew Thursdays well, including my many friends from Midtown, plus all Kansas City Art Institute, Rockhurst, and UMKC alumni who loved Harling’s (during your upperclassmen years), this is a reunion. So, please pace yourselves after the parade.

  Here’s the schedule:

  • 12:00PM-01:30PM O’Dowd’s Little Dublin (Country Club Plaza)
  • 02:00PM-04:00PM The Well (Waldo – 74th and Broadway (Wornall))
  • 05:00PM-08:00PM Lew’s Grill & Bar (Waldo – 75th and Wornall)
  • 08:30PM-01:00AM Harling’s (Westport Rd and Main St)

  To avoid issues with just 1-2 beers, you can first enjoy Full Irish Breakfast at Browne’s Irish Deli at 33rd and Pennsylvania!
